So it seems that SoCal and Mells Bells are celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary on the 27th of May. D got the old lady some shoes. Dennis knows who they hung with and they were both bad. Reppin'!!

I get a phone call tonight from my boy Darryl as I'm driving home from dinner. Turns out he's got a group of friends over at this okazuya in Kapahulu called Tokkuri-Tei. They were takin' some shots of sake and then they busted out our favorite celebratory drink, Habashu (snake juice). Why did he feel the need to call me? There's a "Shoot's Brah" sticker on the bottle that was delivered to their table. Damn, we rock.

quick is the best way to describe this trip.

left hawaii at 9am tues. drank the plane out of jd. got to shanghai wed. at 5pm.

walked around a bit.

those chinese had a different word for everything.

the traffic lights and lines in the roads were merely suggestions for those commuting.

i don't know if the hotel's breakfast buffet was just for us or all of china... it was huge.

the black market out there is a wild scene. i highly recommend you have dmc do all your bargaining. leigh and catfish got some bling. don't test your bootlegs on your new g5... losey.



went to a local eatery with some folks who own a tattoo shop out there. eels, frogs, and turtles were some of the dishes, and ended up flopping around on our table. note to resturant owners: don't let the drunk kids sit next to the tanks.

hung out at a club with thorne. catfish had bunny ears and zack warden had his x-games silver medal on. the doorman looked like the big dude on big fish, but chinese.

lots of chillin' in the hotel lobby with our own drinks and talking shit.

Apples and Rasberries?

Well they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree . . . but it hits the ground pretty damn hard! My daughters and I rode up the hill from our house so we could come back down the bike path. We ended up coasting down the street next to ours and as we turned on a side street to get back to our own, Jasmine forgot what the brake lever was for. She completely crossed the side street, ran into the curb and smacked her face up against the sidewalk pretty good. She didn't cry but she wasn't able to ride back up to our house either. Here's a shot of the damage. SoCal.

A BMX Park?!?!?!

Just so everyone is on the same page, there has been correspondence with certain people at Honolulu Hale and the DLNR regarding a park specifically for use by bicycles. Unfortunately, they still have issues with bicycles and skateboards sharing the same parks. I personally don't see why. Anyways, please contact the crew at www.808x.com and let them know what you think. We're also looking for possible locations of this pilot project. Eventually, we'll have a petition and hopefully we can all work together to get something done. Shoots.
